Die Unterkunft ist sogar schöner als auf den Bildern. Die Umgebung ist toll. Frank hat uns sehr geholfen bei der Ankunft, da wir viel zu spät ankamen. Er hat alles tadellos organisiert. Vielen Dank.

The Orto Cottage was ideal as a place to spend a few days exploring the smaller villages around Castelmuzio as well as the broader central Tuscany area. The cottage was perfect with an amazing view of Pienza in the distance. Our host Phillipe was always quite responsive. We had a couple of snafus on our first day but they were resolved quickly and did not interfere with our enjoyment of our stay there. Phillipe was always available, friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the cottage and would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is situated at the bottom of an olive grove and beautiful garden, with all the privacy of an independent house. The view of the surrounding countryside is something to behold. The house itself is renovated thoughtfully. The kitchen was new, couch and beds very comfortable. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance in the quiet village of Castelmuzio, and there are grocery stores within 5-10 minutes drive. Well located close to countless incredible towns (Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino were a few favourites!). The hot tub was perfect in the evening, allowing us to enjoy the surrounding nature even when the temperature dropped in the evening. WiFi was stable and reliable. Frank and Phillipe were wonderful hosts, providing a thorough guide to the surrounding areas. Couldn't fault this stay!

A beautiful stay in the heart of Tuscany. The space was lovely and even nicer than the photos, and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding towns and wineries. Philip and Frank were very helpful and friendly, which made the stay even better. Highly recommended, and we hope to be back.

WoW! How to summarize a dreamlike stay in Tuscany is difficult to do. L’orto cottage was absolutely stunning and beautiful. We spent a day in Florence - about 1.5 hours drive and another 1.5 days exploring Siena, which is about an hour drive. We went on a superb food tour sponsored by Viator in Florence and got a historic scenic tour along with it, then a wine tour from Siena, also through Viator, and both were great! Although the cottage itself is relatively new, it appears to be an authentic & vintage Tuscan home with all upgraded and modern amenities (gorgeous & spotless!) Sinalunga is close by, about 20 minutes drive, with grocery stores and many restaurants, although we did enjoy two wonderful dinners right within Castelmuzio. We also enjoyed the hottub, listening to the birds, looking at the MANY stars and hearing the wild boars, which are safely outside of the fenced area! It was all surreal. The hosts are also truly wonderful, helpful, & very respectful. LOVED our time here!
