Nestled by Admiralty Inlet, this serene home offers tranquility with gentle waves and occasional maritime traffic, including the Port Townsend ferry. Fishing enthusiasts will delight in the outstanding fishing opportunities in the area, and the backyard is your direct access to the beach! Our oceanfront property is open and welcoming. There's plenty of space for nearly any family to relax. From both levels there are opportunities to enjoy the beautiful sunset views all year long!

Absolutely beautiful setting on a peaceful and semi private beach. Beautifully and comfortably furnished, spacious and carefully provided with all the amenities one would want including a telescope (great to watch for whales, boats, birds or stars all equally easily available from the front window) a piano and a guitar for the musically inclined, snacks, wine, bottled water, condiments and spices and anything you might need to cook. There is even a basket of toys and towels for people who bring dogs. We loved sitting by the front window on the comfy chairs just watching the water as well as exploring the beach . Alas it was too windy for a bonfire or grilling otherwise we would have probably tried that too. I would absolutely go back.
My brothers and sisters came to the island for our mother’s funeral. We arrived at different times and dates. Michelle made it so easy for us to get access to the house knowing that I the renter would not be the first to arrive. She went above and beyond to communicate with my brothers as they arrived days ahead me. The house was perfect. We spent most of our time in the living area catching up and getting to watch ships on the ocean through the large windows. We even were able to watch a bald eagle fly and catch fish. Beds were comfy, sheets were quality high thread count. House was clean and well organized. Plenty of dishes to use. Towels were soft and fluffy. The house is shaped as an octagon. I would say it was corky cool. There is a nice seating area down stairs. We all spent hours down there lounging and chatting. It’s a wonderful place to stay. We will be back to stay again. Thank you Michelle for being a wonderful host.
Looking for a great place to get away and enjoy nature .... this place is the one for you!! The home has everything you need to cook a meal, enjoy a bonfire, watch wildlife!! I highly recommend booking this one!

Our home is situated just south of the city of Coupeville, Washington, on beautiful Whidbey Island, about a 1 minute drive from Fort Casey and just a few hundred yards from the Port Townsend ferry. There's also a well-established restaurant just across from the ferry that locals love.
Whidbey Island has a free Transit System. Our house is within just a short walk distance from this local busing system, but it is best to have a vehicle if you like the ease of commuting when you like. The bussing system is limited to hourly and some days every other hour.
