自我介绍

We are a fun-loving family that loves to travel. Our honeymoon was to Jamaica. Our Christmas was in Mexico. We just had our second child and look forward to more traveling adventures with our two daughters. Our style of traveling is local people, local culture, and local food. We love experiencing life from another perspective. We also have been political activist in helping airbnb and short-term rentals legal in our neighborhood, and neighborhoods like ours across Idaho. This was done through lobbying local politicians, which failed to bring the results we wanted. So a continual lobbying with the State Tax Commission. Airbnb now sends the state of Idaho the Hotel tax, and the state classified short-term rentals like airbnb as residential. Then went further by prohibiting cities from prohibiting short-term rentals throughout the city. So now you have more options to stay in more of the nicest neighborhoods in our blessed state. :) The Handys lean more towards minimalism with an emphasis on relationships and experiences. We are active church-goers in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and we spend a good portion of our free time volunteering in the youth in this church group. We also a little more health nuts. For example, all of the meat that we eat is wild and organic from my hunts and fish trips in the Idaho Mountains. Occasionally my wife will buy a chicken if we can't find a live one to harvest. We have followed the prepper movement, and strive to be self-reliant in every way possible.
