DO NOT STAY HERE. 30 minutes before check-in the host says elevator for top floor unit broken and offered a smaller AirBnB for same price. When we said we would take the stairs, a sudden maintenance mishap caused the unit to be unlivable. They then messaged me over and over to cancel the reservation on my side if I wanted my full refund, not wanting to initiate the cancelation on their end and receive an airbnb ding. Shady place, you’ll regret booking this.

Very nice unit. Exceptionally clean. Very comfortable beds. Host was very fast to respond. Definitely recommend this stay!
Great location and nice views. The apartment was stocked with everything we could need. This place could use some upkeep. There were door handles coming off and in general could use some love. There was unusually warm weather in St. Louis and the air conditioning didn't work. It was very hot but hopefully that is fixed. Great that there was parking onsite but it was a bit of a walk with stairs to the building which was not ideal with a lot of luggage. There were a lot of codes needed to get into the apartment but the instructions were very clear.
Host was very responsive, apartment was clean and we felt very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The pedestrian-friendly Central West End is nestled between Forest Park and the Saint Louis University campus, just west of downtown. The Washington University School of Medicine, the BJC Healthcare campus, the St. Louis College of Pharmacy, and the Cortex Innovation Community, a national leader in technology startups, are all nearby.
The CWE business district is just under a mile long on Euclid and is ideal for walking the entire length. The district is home to over 75 restaurants, bars, and businesses that will fill any vacation itinerary. Take the MetroLink light rail from downtown to the Central West End station.
This is a very walkable neighborhood, but there are bus stops nearby, and you can take the Metrolink downtown for a visit to the Arch or a Cardinals/Blues game! Laclede Cab and St. Louis County & Yellow Cab are our two main cab companies for getting around town by car. There are also UBER and LYFT.
