Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Only 15 minutes door to door to Sierra-at-tahoe. Secluded and quiet in the wee town of Strawberry. In the winter, you must have 4-wheel drive!! There are three bedrooms. They each have a queen sized bed. The third bedroom’s queen bed is a fold out couch that is incredibly comfortable. It actually splits to create two singles as well. There is also a single bed in this room and an extra mattress in the closet. There is also a queen inflatable for extra guests. Dogs are welcome but will be charged a $200 extra cleaning fee.

The cabin was a perfect place to disappear for a month to clear my head. Corinne was an amazing host who made sure the stay was comfortable, and the people I met in Strawberry were super nice. I came here to spend some time alone but ended up making friends who I'm sure to see again. There are aspects about living in the mountains during the winter that not everyone may be used to (shoveling snow, putting on snow chains, starting fires for warmth, etc.) but I found this lifestyle super charming and would encourage you to give it a try. It's a beautiful place to be, and a convenient location for going snowboarding whenever I want.

My husband and I are climbers, avid travelers and LOVE meeting new people. We have a 11 year old son who also loves to meet people!. We just moved to the South Lake Tahoe after living in the Bay Area for over 20 years. We love music, good food and conversation.
