皇后区 · 出租单元里的独立房间 · 1室1床1.5卫 · 可住1人 · Bed & Breakfast: 15 mins to JFK & LGA Airport
Great Location: 15 mins taxi ride to JFK and LGA. 12 mins walk to subway trains E and F which take you directly to Midtown Manhattan. Simple Breakfast provided. Clean Sheets Every Single Time Guaranteed. I understand the feeling you get after an exhausting trip and you just want to take a nice shower and throw yourself onto a clean and comfy bed for some good rest. This is the kind of space I want to provide for you. You will be occupying one of the rooms. It is a spacious bedroom with a queen-sized bed and lots of closet space. The bathroom will be shared. Overall, my apartment is well-maintained and very clean. It is situated in a quiet and friendly community, providing a peaceful retreat in the heart of Queens.
Very nice and responsive host. Was able to access everything I needed very easily and she provided free water and food for me which I really appreciated. The one little thing that I wish was better was if there was a television in the room. Other than that, the stay was wonderful!!
You get what you pay for. There are pretty much zero amenities to this place. It's a place to sleep, but don't expect luxurious comfort. The first problem is that the rental is shared with the host's living space, so I didn't really feel at home. The living room is used as an office for the host and the cluttered kitchen did not appear to be available to guests. The small bathroom is shared by both the host and multiple guests and got dirty very quickly. It also would have been nice if the bathroom door was labeled. When I pulled back the bed covers, there was a large red stain on the bedsheet. It was too late to say anything as the hosts had already gone to bed, so I had to sleep around it. The small room has no fan or ventilation and became really hot at night. I was awoken early to the hosts crashing around the kitchen. There are a lot of little things the hosts could have done to make the rental more welcoming. I felt like an intruder rather than someone who paid to stay here.

Since my kids have all moved out now, I decided to put two of the bedrooms on Airbnb for travelers.
