We would absolutely stay at Casa Tranquila again. I would suggest this home for families or groups who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of town. We were only there for three nights and our trip partner had to cancel, so it was just my husband and myself so we ate out all meals, but for those who prefer to stay in, the kitchen is modern and beautiful and has every amenity you need for your stay. It is a bit of a trek into town, but we enjoyed the walk and felt safe even at night. I would suggest if you are staying here, to rent bicycles. We connected with a taxi driver (who owns his taxi, so cheaper rates) upon our arrival and messaged him whenever we needed a ride into town and if he couldn't come, he sent a friend. Everyone was welcoming and wonderful. Caye Caulker was a dream compared to our stay in San Pedro. The apartment was spacious, modern and beautiful and having the private pool was such a treat.

Great place to stay. Safe, quiet, clean! Would definitely stay here again. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the main area, but very nice area with a great pool for the 2 of us.
