The most picture perfect cottage that is exactly as the pictures show. The architecture and styling are stunning and there were lots of small little touches that made a big difference like the board games, shower gel (smells so good!), blankets for cooler evenings, choice between soft or memory foam pillows. The three minor things I would suggest is fire wood for the fire (unfortunately there wasn’t any left in the chest outside), a nice wipe out of the cutlery drawer and a block out blind for the children’s room (my little one was up at the crack of dawn but daylight savings probably didn’t help). I absolutely loved spending time in this property, couldn’t stop taking photos of the different aspects of the house (Matt you’ve done an incredible job) and will definitely book again.
This house was amazing !! Matt was great and very responsive. He checked in which was nice and the house was very clean with beautiful furnishings. Will defiantly stay again
Matt’s place had a cozy vibe, but with a touch of luxury. We would definitely stay again. New Haven is about a 15-min drive from Cowes, but there are still plenty of restaurants around San Remo, which is just 5 mins away. Highly recommend Saltwater for dinner or drinks. We visited on a weekend when it was 37 degrees each day! So it did get pretty hot in the house, but there was an air conditioner in the living room and Matt provided fans for all the rooms. The kids absolutely loved the games and the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated.
Matt is a fabulous host and will do his best to ensure that you are well looked after. The property is great and very happy to recommend to other travelers.
