The Hemlock House is a newly restored 1920's era home nestled on 3 wooded acres just outside of town with no houses within 500 ft in any direction. It is conveintly located just 1.5 miles south of I-64 at exit 11. 3.5 miles from downtown Huntington. Great stop for travelers, sporting events, groups, Marshall football, soccer, track, Hospital, or events. Private and level parking for two at the house and large rv/trailer parking at the entrance. Private, safe, no neighbors, and clean. My wife and I purchased this home in 2008 because of the location and privacy that it offers to guests. The home sits all by itself and get plenty of sunlight throughout the day. Hemlock trees surround the home and hardwoods cover the forest behind the home. A short walk up the hill offers views of the valley and surrounding areas.

Brad’s place was great. Nicely remodeled home not far off the expressway. We stopped here traveling home to Michigan from Myrtle Beach and it was the perfect place to stay. Very clean and cozy.
Hi! This place is conveniently located about 7 minutes from downtown in a quiet secluded location. Very clean! A lot of space for me and my coworkers. Will def be back. Brad was very helpful and a very nice guy!
Brad was an amazing host! Due to traffic and other delays, we weren’t going to arrive at the house until 11 pm, so Brad offered to be at the house upon our arrival to have the lights on, doors unlocked and to help us carry our luggage inside! He made sure that we were all safely tucked inside before leaving. He also graciously offered to let us check out later than normal the next day due to our late arrival, even though they were expecting other guests that afternoon. The house was perfect in every way. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

There are a few businesses located more than 500 feet from the house. A convenient store/gas station is open 24 hours a day just south of the house onbthe other side of the road. The houses in this area are single family dwellings and well kept.
The road in front of the house is 16th street road and it is a straight shot into town without any turns to navigate.
