We were really looking forward to our stay at Ballyness Resort, prior to booking the description stated that we would be provided with robes and slippers so we didn’t pack any for that simple reason, upon arrival with our 3 year old we couldn’t wait to get into the hot tub. But we couldn’t go outside with no robes in swim wear considering it was freezing outside. We had to wait over an hour for someone to come to our hut to get us robes etc (he was very helpful). Secondly the heater they provided was the only Source of heat in the hut and it’s a plug in artificial fire, although it was faulty and our room was freezing we had to ask for a second one. The hot tub was nowhere near as warm as what a hot tub should be, luke warm water, the temperature was set at a certain temperate and we couldn’t get it higher, but it felt so cold that we couldn’t even spend long periods in it. This put a dampener on our stay, also there is no blinds in the bathroom or frosted glass, lack of privacy.

My Fiancée and I had an excellent stay at the Huts - extremely impressed with how well finished inside it was. The host was responsive and excellent with the help prior to the stay - replying later on at night to questions we have. We already have and will continue to recommend to our friends and can’t wait until we can go back again!

Had really relax two night stay , place is nice and quiet with really good hot tub, definitely coming back :)
