Fantastic accommodation in a wonderful location. Spectacular views over to St Michael’s Mount and a short walk down to the beach made my morning swims very enjoyable. The Cabin cafe beside the beach is recommended as is the Victoria Inn where we had a great meal but be sure to book. You can walk the coastal path to St Michael’s Mount in about an hour and Praa Sands the other way in about 90 minutes or so. That’s a particularly picturesque and interesting walk. Amber is a very helpful host who was quick to respond to enquiries and that was much appreciated. The house is spacious and comfortable and full of quirky details that we all really liked. No complaints whatsoever. And the generous cream tea waiting for us when we arrived was also much appreciated ! There’s a Co-Op and a good fish and chip shop (KCs) close by and Penzance is about 15 minutes drive so you’re well served for amenities. All in all we had a fantastic week and highly recommend The Old Potato Barn and Amber as a host.

Our family, including our four dogs had a wonderful stay in Perranuthnoe with Amber being a wonderful host. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend to other Airbnb users.

Great location and Amber was a fantastic host. The Old Potato Barn is very well kitted out and high end spec so everything a family would need on a holiday to the West Cornish coast. We were a family of 7 and the kids all loved the place. Plenty to do within 20 min drive and the local beach only a 10 min walk. Great fun!

Fabulous location! Such a lovely and super relaxing home - the perfect place to unwind after long walks, big waves and wonderful scenery !! Amber is a great host, really attentive and we loved the local treats. Highly recommend!
