The house is located in the quiet neighbourhood in the heart of La Gaulette (South West of Mauritius) - the most popular tourist destination: - just 10 minutes drive from Le Morne mountain and beach, kite lagoon and the most popular surf spots - 15-20 minutes away from Chamarel, Black River Gorges, Tamarin Spacious room with separate entrance, en-suite bathroom, work zone and access to the swimming pool. Perfect for 1 guest or a couple. Very close to the most popular tourist destinations. No kitchen, but breakfast is available for more than 2 nights stay. Special menu (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free) is available at additional cost. Deep cleaning is performed before and after every guest. For long-term stay there is a cleaning service once a week. Additional cleaning (if required) comes at an extra cost.

Victoria was very nice. She responded very quickly, help us find everything in the room. We had to clean our clothes after hiking, she was super helpful gave us everything we needed. The room was clean. There were water, tea, cookies in the room.

La chambre est spacieuse. Le lit est très grand et confortable. La salle d’eau est très petite mais suffisante. Une chose intéressante est qu’on peut se garer dans la rue à l’ombre. La chambre est idéalement située, à proximité de nombreuses sites intéressants. Victoria est exceptionnellement accueillante et souriante, et généreuse de conseils sur les visites choses à voir dans le secteur. Son compagnon, plus discret, est lui aussi très serviable. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation, et si je suis de nouveau de passage à Maurice je ferai en sorte de séjourner ici à nouveau.

Le Morne mountain and beach, great snorkeling places, many restaurants in the village itself and in the area, supermarket, fruit and vegetables kiosks, kite and surf shops, underwater waterfall, sea-plane, Chamarel mountains, waterfall, Alexandra falls, Black River Gorges, Bois Cheri tea factory, Grand Bassin Temple, Maconde viewpoint, C-beach club, etc.
The best way to get to La Gaulette is an airport transfer (can help to book one) or taxi. It is also possible to rent a car, that will await for you at the airport and that you can drop at the airport before departure
