I stayed at Little Owl for just under 9 weeks as part of a university clinical placement. The accommodation covers all basic needs, is warm, and quiet and provides a very pleasant place to study and rest after a long day. Had it been a different season and I'd had more time, I would have explored the local countryside more, which was beautiful. Gillian was always ready and on hand to offer help and advice and also very kindly kept an eye out to see if I arrived back safely each night. I would thoroughly recommend staying here and will return at some point.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay for a peaceful and rural retreat. Stunning countryside and close to many great hikes/walks and sights. Cozy, clean and comfortable and a warm welcome from Gillian along with home made bread and Victoria sponge. Highly recommend!

We had such a lovely stay, the area is so peaceful. Gillian was absolutely lovely and very welcoming. The homemade cake and bread were a lovely touch!
