We had a great few days here, very relaxing and is exactly what we were looking for. The lodge was perfect, as described. Well equipped, clean, homely and large enclosed decking which our x2 dogs loved. Before our trip there was a slight hiccup with the hottub but Karen made sure to sort an alternative out for us so quickly and provide other options. Karen is an excellent host who was very responsive and friendly. I'd 100% recommend this lodge and hope to be back in the future for sure!

We had a brilliant stay at the lodge. Place was clean, warm, homely with unexpected thoughtful touches and welcome hamper. Even though the weather wasn’t the best, the peaceful surroundings and hot tub under the stars made up for it! Would defo stay again, Karen is an excellent host who was very responsive and friendly.

We stayed at the Cascade Lodge for a quiet pre-New Year family break and it was exactly what we needed. Karen was a fantastic host who kept us in the know and was responsive if we needed help. The place is beautiful and peaceful. Would absolutely recommend.

Of all of my stays, this has to be one of the most memorable, not just because of the setting and time of year, but because, Karen, the Host was such a responsive and attentive person, wanting more than anything to help us have a trouble free stay. From our directions to access instructions, she had it all covered and her place was immaculate, well provisioned and we had some rather nice festive welcome gifts too, which was such a treat at this time of year (Christmas, 2023). I was concerned that I'd be making a traditional Xmas dinner with one pan and two forks but alas, Karen's place had everything and more that I needed....and the hot tub, well that was just the icing on the proverbial cake. From booking, to check-in, to anything we needed during our stay...Karen had it all covered. She made our stay an absolute pleasure and being allowed to stay in her "home-away-from-home" was truly, to our delight. Thanks Karen, you helped make Xmas '23, a great one for us three.
