Stayed for 2.5 months & it was an amazing experience- I've actually already booked another stay! The casita is SO functional & so well thought out- as a digital nomad I have stayed A LOT of places & this outmatched 2BR apartments I've stayed in for functionality, reliability & overall comfort. Location is so quiet, peaceful & gorgeous- had never been to NM & what an introduction! Remote enough to be unplugged, but close enough to a few spots for essentials. Meleny & her family are amazing hosts, communication was always easy & responsive- even the neighbors were delightful & super helpful. Such a great experience!

For my first time being in New Mexico, staying at Meleny's cabin was the perfect choice. The location was beautiful, peaceful, safe & overall perfect for travelling around the state. Meleny & her family are respectful, helpful and wonderful to chat with. Any issues, questions or concerns were responded to immediately, and I always felt comfortable reaching out. I loved the surrounding nature and animals around the property & would definitely stay again. I recommend to anyone looking to enjoy their time in New Mexico to stay with Meleny & her family.

Beautiful place to relax. So peaceful and fun being near horses and fruit trees. The outside patio area is especially nice and Meleny is a very helpful host! If you're like me from the East Coast, its a different world out there, an amazing experience! The whole landscape changes as you go up the mountain. There's a winery right down the road, Jemez springs has great food and a fun brewery, Albuquerque is easy to get to, definitely go to the top of Sandia peak if you have a chance. There's tons of awesome places to hike.

I stayed at Meleny’s place for two months and it was ideal, I had everything I needed and could have wanted. The casita and surrounding area was peaceful, beautiful, everyone was super friendly and welcoming, at the same time my privacy was respected. It was just very comfortable and easy going. All of the amenities were just right, the bed comfy, nice little kitchen and a grill if I had wanted it, washer/dryer, etc., and I loved taking walks to visit neighboring horses, or just watching them in the fields next door. Not to mention the wonderful Pygmy goats, chickens, and emu! When I left the trees were in full bloom, it was wonderful. I wish I could have stayed longer but I will definitely be back. To be honest, everything about the place is such a dream, but I mostly was touched because I left feeling like extended family, Meleny and her family are just good people. I will definitely be back!

This was such a peaceful month! The beauty surrounding the casita was so inspirational and I finished three paintings in my first week there. Meleny is very responsive and helpful - she even brought some extra touches over to make it even more welcoming! The casita has everything you need. The bed was comfortable and the place feels bigger than it is with how everything is organized. All in all a great stay.
