The house was clean, comfortable, was decorated beautifully, and was a perfect home base for some Adirondack adventures. I really enjoyed my stay, although the hot tub was one of the amenities that made me choose this place, and it was cloudy/foamy/smelled strong, so I didn’t use it. The host was not responsive to questions by email or text.

I cannot recommend this place enough! The cabin style was very cozy, there were more amenities there than we were expecting, and everything was very clean and organized! The spot was perfect for our Ski trip, only about 40 minutes away from Oak Mountain. Check in was super easy and convenient with keyless entry, and the hot tub worked perfectly for us! 10/10!

This place was great, lots of room! Very private with the surrounding woods, we saw deer often. Lots of small touches that came in very handy, plenty of extra blankets, lots of outlets and places to charge devices, trail suggestions and details on the fridge, plenty of laundry detergent (washer is weird, I suggest only using the "quick" cycle), smores sticks, board games, and particularly appreciated the extra batteries available for the smoke detectors when the low battery beep started on Christmas night! We loved being able to have our dog with us as well. As we had Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner here, I did far more cooking than most probably would, so I had to run out for some random kitchen things to grab foil, oil, spices, ziplock bags, and more dishwasher pods, but there's a Walmart about 20ish minutes away, so it was not a big deal. Staying in the winter was beautiful and we'd love to come back in the summer as well!
