Welcome to Kāwhia’s favourite Tiny House accomodation! Based right on the waterfront, Te Whare Iti boasts unrestricted views of Kawhia Harbour, has its own private high-tide boat ramp / swim spot and is entirely off-grid (preventing any untimely powercuts ruining your vacation). Located right on the outskirts of town, our quiet property includes onsite car and trailer parking, shovels for hot pool digging and a barbecue with unrivalled views. Book your romantic get-away for two today. The property is set away from the road and includes a large lawn, direct access to the harbour, good netting spots for those who love to fish, great kayaking opportunities with the nearby islands and bush-covered peninsulas, and a private boat ramp at high tide. The tiny house is compact but well thought-out, with full-sized kitchen and bathroom, as well as a queen sized bed. All linen and bathroom/beach towels are included. Pop-up gazebo available for patio area upon request. For those who are planning a longer stay, the host is happy to do laundry.

Wowowow! This place is so cute! We loved having such a peaceful evening. It was so easy to put the kayak in. Kelly was so helpful with tide times and letting us borrow the life jackets! The tiny house is so well kept. Definitely hope to come back. Highly recommend this little gem.
Wish we could have stayed longer! A great spot with everything we needed. Short drive to the hot water beach and dark sky great for stargazing.

We arrived late in the evening and Georgia made the process seamless for us. We woke up to a beautiful view in a comfortable bed from a carefully placed beautiful window overlooking a amazing Country. Thank you so much, we hope to come back to this bucket list location.
Vielen für den tollen Aufenthalt in deinem Tiny House. Das Haus ist schön gelegen, direkt am Meer, und es ist unglaublich gut ausgestattet. Schöne und mehr als ausreichende Handtücher, Kissen, Bettbezüge. Duschgel und Shampoo sind vorhanden, ebenso Seife für das Waschbecken. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet für 2 Personen, sogar Tee, Pulverkaffee und Salz/Pfeffer waren vorhanden. Ein Ordner mit Tipps zur Umgebung war hilfreich. Alles war sehr sauber und der Platz ideal ausgenutzt. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Shovels are provided free-of-charge upon request if you would like to make the most of Te Puia's relaxing hot springs.
Public transport is not available is Kawhia but car, bike, boat or on foot are all great options to explore our little town.
