The Caribbean Sea 2 blocks / 200 meters away on one side and the famous 5th Avenue directly in front of the building, just steps away. ► Potential for noise The building is on the famous 5th Avenue at the intersection of 42nd Street (Calle 42 Nte.) Not the busy part of 5th Ave. The busy part of 5th Ave goes from 10th Street to 34 Street (Calle 10 - Calle 34) This is not the central busy part of 5th Ave but please keep in mind that you are still directly on 5th Ave. There is a restaurant on 5th Avenue close by called "San Lucho" that can play live music until 10-11PM depending on the season. After the Live music, they can also play their own music from the speakers longer but the owner has agreed to keep it lower when the Live music stops. There is obviously a difference with the doors open and the doors closed when you make a reservation we will send you a video for context. ► Note about the Private Pool: This is a small pool not a jacuzzi. The jets are not functional. In case the you have another group or the date that you want are not available at this property, we also have 4 additional 3BR 3 Bathroom units on 38th street between 5th Ave & the Beach 2 blocks over and (1) 3 bedroom unit on 28th street steps away from the famous Mamita's Beach in a building named "Oceana Residences". What an amazing condo in a great location right in the middle of everything felt right at home definitely a place everyone needs to stay in while visiting in playa !
The Host i must say go above and beyond the call of airbnb. They ensure you have everything you need and even make videos in multiple languages to make sure you are okay. They couldn’t have done a better job. The GPS down there is messed up so it takes you to another spot. Just follow their email and they will get you there. Even add the address custom in google maps. Tell your driver as well. Anyway. I will definitely be back. Thank you !
My family and I enjoyed spending our final 4 nights at Andrea's condo. We were winding down our month in Playa del Carmen and chose to stay in our favourite part of town, Zazil-ha. Pros: -new building, spotlessly clean in-unit and all amenities in the building -rooftop pool area was extremely quiet (we had it to ourselves each afternoon) -ample supplies: dishes, cutlery, towels, water, beddings. -excellent communication with the host team, very responsive and accommodating -spacious enough for 3 adults and 2 kids (6 and 8) -EXCEPTIONAL Internet speeds (up and down) for the region. 300+ Mbps is unheard of in Playa. Cons: -noise. this is reiterated in the listing and by the hosts and they're not wrong. The bar downstairs (check them out for really good food and happy hours) goes hard on weekends with karaoke until 2am. Things got much quieter on weekdays by 11pm. All in all, a fantastic stay. Kudos to the hosts for their commitment to creating a world class experience in PDC.
The penthouse was beautiful and in a great location, everything is walking distance. I felt safe and secure while in our stay. The guide they provided has lots of great information and if you have any questions they are quick to answer to any concerns. I loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.
Our stay was hands down amazing, the hosts communicated everything very well before check in and during our stay. If you are in Playa, I highly recommend staying at Andrea and Christopher’s place!
