Excellent getaway!

I will warn you because they do not, this property is on a small 1 mile road off the main road and when it’s snows they do not plow this road or did not in my situation. Snow plows drove right by and when I asked they said they were not aloud to plow this smaller road. So we attempted drive through the snow, we had chains on which were required and very necessary on our drive because of the very Icy conditions. Really wish we could have arrived earlier when conditions were better but 4 o’clock check in made us arrive while the snow was dumping. Even with chains we got about 25 feet before getting stuck and the tires spinning. We were able to reverse out and had to turn back less than a mile from the property because the car couldn’t make it due to the conditions, we waited to see if any bigger trucks might come through and pave a path, but never saw anyone. We were denied a refund, half of the stay was a cleaning fee for a place I never walked in. Denied any refund, renters beware!

the place is nice and cozy. I am glad they have baby gates at the stairs area made it feel safe for my wondering 1yr old. Definitely consider this place when we visit the area again.

The place was nice and cozy. Clean beds and bathrooms. Air quality inside wasn’t so good. Under the beds were dirty, when we move beds around to accommodate the kids, was noticeable dirty . Also the rugs in one of the bedrooms. The oven took sometime to get warm, and microwave and coffee maker were dirty also.

Great lodge feel, was a little hard to find as there is no phone reception, very clean and warm. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working and the leasing company didn’t have clear directions or tell us where it was, so we got changed went all the way down the hill to find it was under maintenance, was a little disappointing. But would definitely stay here again.
