The Emerald Mountain Chalet, is an enchanting newly renovated chalet on the top of a mountain with phenomenal views overlooking the Delaware River. Ideally laid out this inviting open plan home has everything you'll need to make your getaway a memorable and amazing one! Enjoy evenings grilling outside on the deck, relaxing around the fireplace, or rustle up a meal in the new kitchen. The Emerald Mountain Chalet is an ideal retreat for a couple or a few couples who need a getaway. It can also work for a family with children or two families with children. There are three total bedrooms. The large master bedroom upstairs includes an en suite bath with a sauna. The master bedroom has a balcony, cathedral ceilings an en suite bath with a sauna and a washer dryer. The central a/c and heating keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The second bedroom is privately located downstairs next to its own bath downstairs and is across from the den room. The second bedroom downstairs has a double bed and an adjacent full bath. The third bedroom downstairs has two twin size beds. And is also adjacent to the first floor restroom. The kitchen, dining room and living room are open plan and face the spectacular views of the river framed by a reclaimed barn wood wall. One last thing, there are many breakable items in the chalet. Please take that into consideration. There is a security camera in the front drive.

George was very accommodating & helpful. His place was clean, and allowed access to activities in the area. The hot tub happened to not be in service during our trip, which we truly looked forward to, however besides that our stay was great ! Thank you!
George's place was great. The view? Wonderful. The home? Lovely. The location? Quiet and away from the road. While we didn't get a chance to use the hot tub (we were too busy hiking and exploring the area), it seems like it would've been a lovely way to unwind. The property in all was great and we are glad we were able to spend a long weekend here. If we had one gripe, it would be that the bed in the master bedroom wasn't very comfortable; same with the couch in the living room. All in all, we gave it a 4/5 stars!
Everything was very thoughtful, it felt like the hosts really wanted us to feel comfortable and enjoy their beautiful chalet, and we did.
We had a great stay, what a wonderful home! Everything was clean upon arrival. There was an extra bonus we didn’t know about, Mr. George installed a hot tub! We tried it and it was amazing!! The view is incredible, looks over the river. It snowed the first day and the scenery was breathtaking. There is a ski resort right down the road that we tried out one day. Walmart is about a 30 minute drive and restaurants etc in the 15-30 range. We cooked in quite a bit and everything works perfectly. They have a keurig machine and plenty of pots and pans to make everything we wanted. Check in and out simple and Mr. George answered the few questions we had. Will definitely look to stay again, highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and clean with a great view of the mountains and lakes. The host was very informative and responsive. He provided us with passes and discounts to the local amenities in the community. They offer skiing and snow tubing during the winter seasons. Overall a good experience!

This home is part of the Masthope Community. Visitors can take part in the community events and participate in a variety of winter activities like skiing and tubing, of summer activities like accessing the beach at the lake, horseback riding etc.
In the community of Masthope mountain a very strict 25MPH is enforced. Please obey the speed limit.
