Step inside this characterful cottage, and you'll fall in love with the exposed beams, stylish splashes of colour and the contemporary, cosy ambience. The lounge is ideal for relaxing with family or friends and spending a lovely evening on the corner sofa or in the armchair watching a movie on the Smart TV. In the hall is the main bathroom. On the lower ground floor is a fantastic kitchen/diner with everything you need to cook up a storm, and it is an ideal space for enjoying family time or chatting while sitting on the island with two bar stools. There's also a snug area with a sofa where you can read a book, or the kids can chill while you prepare a meal. On the first floor, there's a double bedroom and a small double room. On the top floor, you'll find another double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Outside, the enclosed garden and patio with garden furniture make an ideal spot for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while the children or dogs can run around and play on the lawn. The Furness Coast (6 miles) boasts miles of sandy beaches, including dog-friendly Askam-in-Furness Beach (11 miles) which is a great day out. Further afield (17.5 miles) are Lake Windermere and Coniston (14.5 miles), with plenty of hiking or water-based activities to enjoy.
