Peacefully located in Shawnee National Forest, this pet friendly cottage is a perfect get away for hikers, travelers and hunters. Newly renovated this home boast plenty of room for exploration or simply for rest. Parks, trails and rivers are a walk/short drive away. Visit Garden of the Gods, Pounds Hollow, Rim Rock and more. Stop by the Outpost for firewood, ice cream, and Bigfoot souvenirs. Harbisons is the place for pizza and small grocery items. Come visit us and see what we have to offer.

Quiet, secluded, clean, cozy home right next to some of the best views you'll find. If your going to garden of the gods and you need a place to relax after this is the spot. The pictures do not do this home justice. Better than expected, 5 stars, would recommend.

Easy to find in the heart of Shawnee! Denise was proactive in reaching out and had helpful tidbits to ensure a smooth process. We and our 4 legged friends LOVED the yard and how private it felt. The proximity to trails and special sites in Shawnee was awesome. Place was clean and had all the necessities. WiFi worked great. Didn’t even use the fire pit but will do so if ever back!
We had a great stay over the holiday weekend. Our favorite part was how much our dogs were able to enjoy the space and yard. It's on a pretty private lot and the road gets very few cars. It was also just a ten minute drive to get to Garden of the gods. We also liked that both decks had gates so we could keep the dogs contained if needed .

Quiet, rural area. You can expect to hear a vehicle every now and then going doing the gravel road. Stepping out onto the front porch, you'll see in the distance the security light of your closest neighbor. We hope you enjoy this peaceful location!
There is a hiking path located to the front of the path if you want to get into nature without the drive to one of the many hiking and spot-seeing spots around the area. However - for most all other things, a car will be necessary.
