Mattie's Place is a little bit of Heaven. It is situated on the edge of 35+ acres. Come enjoy the peacefulness, soak up the beauty and enjoy the simple side of life. The guest house consist of a super big livingroom area with 3 Recliners and a large sectional couch,single bedroom with a queen size bed, full kitchen, bathroom/shower and laundry room. There is a large screened in back porch with dinning area and grill. We're located 4 minutes away from Woodbury Wildlife Area for the Deer Hunters. * We have 2 ponds that is Catch and Release Only..2 Adult life jackets and 2 children jackets will be provided. You need your own poles and baits. * We also have land that can be walked and there will be bow hunting allowed in the fall. * We also have a pool...guest are welcome to swim, bring your own towels. * All of these activities need adult supervision when you are 14 years and younger. * Upon arrival Rental Agreement is to be signed. This agreement states throughout your stay you are excepting responsibility and liability for any incidents that may take place during your stay on our premises. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION. This is my second stay in just a couple short months.  Can’t imagine staying anywhere else if you’re going to the Coshocton area.  The home is just so peaceful beautiful comfortable.  Nancy couldn’t be any more accommodating. She’s just a lovely person. I can’t wait to go back.
It’s going to be hard to say just a few words because I have stayed at many Airbnb’s across & Hawaii and Nancy’s guest home was beyond my expectations. It started with a beautiful drive just 7 miles outside of Roscoe, which has a lot of great places to explore and eat . I could tell just from driving up the beautiful lane to her home that it was going to be something very special. Nancy met me at the door and offered to help me carry in my luggage. The home is just so welcoming. Beautiful, warm furniture and decorated with so much attention to detail and love . The bed is so comfy. Big closet. Kitchen is more than stocked with anything you could need. Bathroom is large & the lighting is amazing. I didn’t get to use it because of temp but there’s an amazing screened in porch with seating & refrigerator.  This is a private lane so very quiet environment. I would really say it was a much needed retreat for me. Before I left, I booked her guesthouse again in 2 weeks. Washer/Dryer too!!!
Nancy and Rick are amazing sweet people. Can’t wait to stay again. Home was very homey.
I came to hunt the 2024 muzzle loader season in cochocton. I came across Nancy's listing and booked my stay. it was a pleasure to meet Nancy and her husband. great folks! this place has everything you need as if you were home! I loved the location. I will definitely be back next fall for the bow opener!!
