Had a fantastic stay at Heron house. As other reviews mention, service is what really shines. This was apparent even before we arrived when the team accomodated shifting dates of our stay last minute due to emergebcy and they even picked up necessities we needed upon our arrival. Hoa, the house manager was our personal concierge and helped arrange activities, food and transportation when we needed it. for us, this setup was perfect medium between a hotel and non-staffed Airbnb. The setting was beautiful and we enjoyed riding bikes around the rice paddies every morning. Likee others, we signed up for having Loic set up a barbeque in-villa. The price gave me a bit of sticker shock at first given prices elsewhere but glad we proceeded because it was very unique experience and arguably the best food we had while in Vietnam. Loic is very passionate about the food and his business and it shows. Thanks again!

Excellent stay, very responsive host, beautiful villa. Location out of town, which can be convenient if you plan to explore the area, not so if you plan to spend most time in Hoi An. We enjoyed it as it gave us a chance to escape the tourist crowds in town.

Our family booked a last- minute weekend getaway from Singapore at Heron House. Everything was perfect from the start. Loïc was quick to communicate - setting up airport transfers, child seats for the bikes and a poolside 'al fresco' movie night for the girls. We booked the whole villa (3 bedrooms) so we could relax and not worry about disturbing other guests. The rooms were spacious, airy & clean with a tasteful mix of local Vietnamese and French Colonial accents. The pool and in-room soaking tubs were a big hit with the kids. Hội An sunsets on the the wrap around terraces and in room wine coolers were a big hit with Mom and Dad. Prior to departing we were worried that the property may night have been maintained after years of COVID lockdowns. Happy to report that was not the case - it is exactly as pictured and as magical as ever. One thing the pictures can't capture is the warmth and genuine kindness of the staff. The house manager Hoà in particular, was always available. A very seasoned hostess, she was quick to anticipate the needs of a small family and make appropriate recommendations for restaurants, directions, excursions etc.. She was so patient and accommodating with our picky 3-year-old for breakfasts requests. We felt like we were staying with family. The Villa is located conveniently between the old town and beach in a quiet little rice farming village away from the tourists and noise. Loïc and staff are well connected to the vibrant and diverse community of local businesses and seemed to be able to get anything you could imagine with a quick phone call. Last minute snorkeling/scuba? - set up the night before and a driver was waiting at the Villa by 8am. Mani/Pedi and massages? - arrived within two hours to pamper the girls. As you would have read from the other comments, Loïc has a passion for hosting and is an amazing chef. We arranged for a BBQ with a mix of Vietnamese specialties. It was a perfect last evening in Hội An and was a highlight of our stay. I highly recommend his lemongrass infused gin in tonic. Superb. We will be back and will be recommending Heron House to all our friends back home in Singapore. Thanks Loïc and team for the amazing memories.

Best Airbnb I've ever stayed in! Absolutely gorgeous property, amazingly helpful staff, everything was great. Definitely recommend getting Loic to cook you a fabulous BBQ & watch a movie on the projector!
