We had a brilliant and peaceful stay. It was a great place to switch off with no distractions. The Old Chicken Shed was perfect for our short getaway, spotless and relaxing. Had a lovely dinner at The Forester’s Arms just 5 minutes walk away, and enjoyed seeing/hearing the animals, especially the resident alpaca! Thanks for having us!
Unique surroundings for a relaxing weekend away
Beautiful, intimate, quirky spot in a unique location. Loved our stay :)
Myself and my partner loved our stay. It was lovely waking up in the morning to the Noise of the peacocks, and instead of a dog roaming around there was an alpaca. Local walks were great, only 30 minutes from the Peak District and some great pubs to stop off at. Nearby town of Ashbourne definitely worth a look.
The perfect place to stay, the barn conversion is beautiful! Thank you Alexa for being such an amazing host!
