Enjoy good times with loved ones in this “tres chic” very stylish and artistic city house. No wi fi so you can enjoy the quality time togheter (or bring your own internet on your phone😉) The non-ostentatious door leads through a hallway to the kitchen, furnished sun yard and living room where you can gather for activities, cooking and enjoy being together. Here you will also find one of the house's 2 toilets. Following the stairs, leading to the top floor, you find immediately to the right, a very large and light bathroom and the second toilet. On this floor are also the 3 large bright double bedrooms, one of which is best suited for children or smaller people as the bed is only 190x140cm. The other 2 beds are 200x140cm. There are also cupboards for your clothes and things and extra blankets if it's cold, as well as a small room with good light and mirrors, where you can apply make-up or get ready without taking up the bathroom. The rooms have each there personal style with hand-painted headbords and a cosy very french style fireplace. (At the moment it is not possoble to make fire)

Just in front of the house is the church and the townhall. Close bye there is a bakery for your fresh morning croissants and baguette and a supermarket within a short walking distance. The area around the house in Caumont sur Aure is a fertile rural region, very good for car holidays. The gentle landscape with tall trees between the fields called "bocage" and small forests, hills, extensive apple orchards and fields of grain is very beautiful and idyllic. If you want to experience large, wide sandy beaches, sand dunes, the fantastic tides, and fashionable seaside towns such as Trouville and Deauville, it is just a short drive from Caumont. Here you will also find beautiful beach promenades and shops.
Normandy is known for the invasion during World War II. The large war cemeteries stand as a moving reminder of D-Day at Omaha Beach and Arromanches-les-Bains. Caumont sur Aure played an important role. Another attraction only 30 min driwe avay is the rocky island of Mont-Saint-Michel, which is connected to the mainland by a 1,800 meter long causeway.
You can best experience the area's beautiful nature and the small nearby towns, by driving in a private car. Public transport is available. Parking is free at the town hall just round the corner. It is not possible to parc just in front of the house
