We had a lovely stay at Nic's place! he was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived, even though we got there much later than we had planned. The Airbnb was great and was equipped with everything you could need for a long stay. It was so fun to see all of the character of the beautiful historic home and the grounds were beautiful as well. The location was excellent for exploring South Wales and we would definitely stay here again!
We had the pleasure of staying here for a few nights and we wish it could have been longer. It is such an interesting, unique place, it really made us want to do a bit of reading and discover more on the history of it. We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone.
Beautiful unique place and experience. Was only able to stay a few days this time and the weather wasn’t the best, but look forward to returning for longer in warmer weather :)
I have stayed at a lot of AirBnBs but Llanharan House was by far the best. It was so much more than expected. There were charming period features throughout, an enormous kitchen large enough for a banquet, huge comfortable bedrooms and more scenic views than you can shake a stick at. Incredibly comfortable and so spacious - it felt like something from a Thomas Hardy book. VERY highly recommended.
A1 host and property. Nicolas was very accommodating and flexible with check-in time and gave lots of useful information including a great recommendation for the Hare and Hounds pub / restaurant where we had an exceptionally good meal. It is part of a huge mansion and as such the corridors between rooms were very cold and dark, but the bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and warm as was the kitchen and living room (once we had borrowed an extra electric radiator from Nicolas!) The kitchen has an enormous Aga as well as a fan oven / grill and induction hob, and everything you might need. The roll top bath was a lovely feature. Unusually you have to go through one bathroom / toilet to get to the second bathroom / toilet. Only suggestion would be for a second sofa in the living room. There is just a small twin seater and a single wicker garden chair, which is not sufficient for a property advertising that it sleeps four. Overall we had a great time and recommend you stay here.
