Walking trails, beautiful fall leaves. Friendly folks. You will have Queen bed, k cup of coffee maker with k cups, small refrigerator, microwave, closet for your clothes, washer dryer with soap, bathroom and shower with toiletries provided, TV and internet service. Parking space with fenced in yard. Quite and peaceful. Deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels are often seen on property.

We had many good hosts through Airbnb but my husband and I both agree, Robert/Capt'n Gene is the best! He was so hospitable and friendly, he made us feel like family! We shared stories and when he heard how far we had traveled for work, he offered to make us breakfast in the morning and he did! We enjoyed our stay and hope to Airbnb with Capt'n Gene again! ☺️ We appreciate your kindness, Monte & Ashley
Quick stopover on the way from Asheville to GA. We booked very last minute and Robert was quick to respond to our reservation request and very helpful with instructions. The price was definitely right for our one night stay.
Robert is definitely the superhost that previous reviews described. He's friendly, a good communicator, and willing to help in any way he can. He's a very interesting person with many life experiences to share. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, had a comfy bed, and all the amenities you need. I highly recommend this rental!

We have John C Campbell Folk School where often have dancing and music concerts. Harrah’s Cherokee casino is local. We have Lake Hiawassiee and Lake Chatuge with activities. Fall leaves are so beautiful. Restaurant’s from hot dogs to surf and turf. Come and enjoy our community.
