Skip was a great host, communicated well and easy to check in and out. Only down side was I couldn’t get the pool light to come on but it got breezy by the night time so no one wanted to get in the pool anyway. Overall a great stay.

For the price I was disappointed. Skip did refund me half of the cleaning fee. There was hair in the shower drain, toothpaste stains in the sink, upstairs carpet had stains, stovetop was encrusted with burned food . We were surprised twice, once by pest control and once by the lawn company. Outside lawn furniture was broken. Lacked supplies.. only 1 extra trash bag, no hand soap in the main bathroom etc. Very dusty , the master bedroom duvet had stains.Around the doorknobs was grundy and touchup was needed on several doors and walls. The house was nicely decorated but I would much rather had a cleaner place than a place loaded with decor. As much as I would like to give this a good recommendation, I cannot recommend this place as it was expensive and did not meet even standard cleanliness.

We traveled to this San Antonio home for our spring break vacation. The first day in our stay the alarm system had issues. Apparently a previous guest tampered with the alarm system trying to get it to stop talking/beeping and it was going off randomly until someone was able to come out Tuesday to fix the issue. A sprinkler guy came out during our stay and we were told he wouldn't enter the home, but did-he left trash in the laundry area. The propane tank for the grill was empty and Skip had it replaced by the pool guy on another day. The bathrooms were not clean at all. Black mold and used towels/washcloths plus clothing left behind by a previous guest. The shower curtain rod was broken. The bunk beds are a massive safety hazard. Broken top rails, missing bolts. Broken outdoor umbrellas and broken coffee table. Very limited basic supplies like trash bags so we had to message Skip for access to supplies. This house could easily be 5 stars, but needs a weekend of TLC.
