Welcome to our modern and chic Cayucos surf shack! Perched upon the hillsides of southern Cayucos, enjoy sweeping ocean views of Estero Bay, from the front balcony while sitting next to the outdoor gas fire pit, or from the secluded back patio while soaking in your very own private hot tub! This cottage includes a spacious backyard for your pup to roam that backs up to hundreds of acres of nature and open space. This space is an ideal fit for two, yet offers flexibility for up to four guests. The cottage includes two dedicated parking spaces - one snug garage spot and a convenient driveway space just steps from the entrance. Guests are welcome to use the EV charger upon request. Please note that the space is located up 1 flight of stairs with no elevator. As you enter our newly renovated modern yet cozy, bright bungalow, enjoy spanning ocean views from the living room, while cozying up next to the gas fireplace. Our living room pull-out couch extends to a full queen-sized bed, stocked with all the luxury bedding for your family and or friends visiting the shack with you. A fully stocked, state-of-the-art, kitchen with new appliances, and a convenient washer/dryer combo provide the perfect space to cook any meal. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee (or locally provided tea) at our kitchen table for four, out at the bistro table on the front patio, or the back garden. Entering the bedroom, enjoy the ocean view from the king-size bed. Turn on the in-suite electric fireplace to take the chill out of the coastal air, while relaxing and ending your day. The 1 bathroom is connected to the bedroom and features a spacious rain shower with a modern aesthetic. The unfenced backyard backs up to miles of open space and is beautifully landscaped for guests to enjoy, with plenty of space for your friendly dog to roam. We live on the property next to the cottage with our dog and are generally available in case guests require anything. The unit is adjacent to our property and although these are separate units, they share the same stairway.

Great place to stay. Clean, natural, and minimalist design makes you feel very comfortable. Everything is very well thought out and easy to use. I would definitely stay here again for a trip to the central coast.
This is a great place to go for an overnight weekend stay to enjoy the beach, privacy on the patio with the Jacuzzi at night. We didn’t get to see the dog maybe next time. Definitely a very cool place with an amazing vibe.
I cannot say enough about Edel and Alex’s place. It truly was one of the best Airbnbs we stayed at due to all of the thoughtful touches - the decor and plants made it feel so cozy, the fresh scents made it feel clean and fresh, the Welcome Book had so many curated recommendations that let you feel like a local, and as people who travel with our dog constantly, the blankets to cover the couch/bed were highly appreciated. Usually “dog friendly” Airbnbs don’t allow dogs on the furniture, which is hard when our pup is used to sleeping with us. Conveniently located to the town - and we loved the dog beach right across the street. The view and sound of the ocean was incredible. All the amenities you need and more for a great weekend away on the central coast!

Cutest little spot to stay for the weekend!! Loved every second of our stay with friends. The space fit four of us comfortably and had everything to offer!! Highly recommend staying here to relax and unwind.

The cottage is nestled in a quiet family neighborhood right in front of a dog-friendly beach. Our location is just east of Highway 1 with a safe crosswalk to get down to the beach.
Surrounded by the Cayucos hills, our stay offers plenty of outdoor space to explore. Within minutes of driving North on Highway 1, you will find yourself in downtown Cayucos where there are many local shops and restaurants to explore.
Cayucos is approximately 20 minuites away from San Luis Obispo and 35 minutes away from Paso Robles. These are the two major cities on the central coast. Rental cars and access to other amenities can be found here.
In Cayucos, Ride Shares such as Uber and Lyft are scarce. Wait times for rides are often lengthy and pricier than rides in your local area.
But if you have your ride covered, enjoy getting around simply by walking the beach to and from town, riding your bike on local bike paths, or hiking the hills to and from town via nearby trails!
