Farm cottage with fireplace and eco pool:) The cottage is a unique old barn cottage with exposed wooden beams, stone walls and a cozy feel of our farm's history. The cottage consists of a living area with large double doors opening out onto the garden with an outside shower and pool. The kitchen boasts a Smeg stove and all the necessities to create beautiful meals. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed in a loft bedroom and a sleeper couch is available as an extra bed. Firewood is included. The cottage itself is cozy, rustic and beautifully designed and has everything one needs for a cozy stay! The garden immediately in front of the cottage is perfect for appreciating local birdlife with a cup of coffee in the morning, or sunning yourselves on the patio in the late afternoon as the colours change around you… or enjoying a delicious outside braai (bbq)! 150m from the cottage is the original farmhouse where you can enjoy local beer and food from Thursday - Monday.

It was my second time on the farm and I had the most amazing time again. Easy, friendly communication. The apartment was extremely clean and well equipped with everything you need to have comfortable stay. Thanks for having me!
I'm so impressed with Kristina & Jayx, they were so helpful building up to the stay and during our stay. Any questions I had were answered within a few minutes (and I asked a lot lol) The location is beautiful, very secure and just a lovely get away not too far from Cape Town. The house had everything we needed and more, loved the fact that you could see the stone that the house is built from. Unfortunately we weren't able to use the outside area much due to weather but I can see it being AMAZING in summer! To top it all off the fact that there's a beer garden within walking distance just made it that much more perfect. We were able to watch the rugby, have a few drinks and then walk home. All in all we had a wonderful weekend and I would highly recommend this location. Thanks for everything.
it's my second time staying on the property, my first at this particular house and I cannot recommend this spot enough. it's absolutely perfect, a beautiful space to find sanctuary and just kick back and relax. already looking forward to the next time I can escape here.

You can get to Simonstown by driving over Redhill (immediately right as you exit the farm gates). It’s a picturesque naval harbour town with some interesting history and a number of museums. Here you’ll find your nearest supermarkets, pharmacy, etc. And Boulder’s beach, to see the penguins, is a must if you haven’t been before!
Turning left out of the farm gates you’ll be headed to Cape Point! The nature reserve is vast and exquisite- allow plenty of time for exploring, swimming, hiking, picnicking, visiting the lighthouse etc. On the way there or back, pop in at the Scone Shack for teatime treats.
A car is definitely necessary for getting around
