Lilac Cottage is a beautiful modern stone cottage with a period feel in the centre of Pytchley village. Its oak frame is exposed with vaulted ceilings and beams in the interior, creating a warm and cosy feel, whilst the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Fabulous entertaining kitchen to enjoy with friends and family Enjoy the surrounding countryside with fantastic walks. Nearest rail station is Kettering (5 mins drive) direct to London in an hour. A fabulous entertaining home to celebrate a special occasion or just relax and enjoy the lovely village and wonderful countryside. Our kitchen is open plan with dining area and double doors out into the garden. It’s well equipped for you to enjoy your evenings cooking with a double oven, 6 ring gas hob and a Ninja double drawer air fryer. While the dish washer handles the dishes you can relax in the lounge in front of the SMART TV which has Sky. Also DVD player with plenty of DVD’s to choose from. There is an Additional large TV in the Master Bedroom with Sky etc. Sonos music system also available. Utility room connected to the kitchen with sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave with a stable door into the garden. Front door leads straight into a large hall and then into the lounge. Double doors leading out to the patio and garden from the lounge. There is also a study and downstairs WC off the hall. The bedrooms are spacious and bright. Bedroom 1 has a lovely vaulted ceiling with a king size bed, TV and en suite. Bedroom 2 also has a lovely vaulted ceiling and double bed and is bright and cheerful. Bedroom 3 has a double along with a single bed. There is an option of an 8th guest with a truckle available suitable for a child if requested, see a picture at the end of the photo gallery. Beautiful family bathroom on the landing with large modern bath and shower. Please see location and neighbourhood for all the details of the area and things to do.

Amazing hosts and a beautiful home from home. There was plenty of room for our family and the house was immaculately tidy. Pytchley is a charming English village and the perfect location for our stay. Chris and Neil were great hosts: flexible, generous and helpful. One of the best Air BnB’s we’ve stayed at. Highly recommended.
Neil and Chris’s house was lovely, very warm and comfortable. It was stocked with everything you could need and finished to a beautiful standard. We would absolutely stay again.
We enjoyed 3 nights celebrating my Birthday. Neil & Chris’s home is beautiful, warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. They have thought of everything required to ensure our stay was relaxed and enjoyable. Everything in their home is of a high standard and exquisite taste. We stayed as 6 adults with 3 dogs and had plenty of room. The local walks were great and their recommendation for the Indian restaurant delivery was spot on with hot delicious food from Kushboo. Communication was perfect and the welcome pack for my Birthday was beyond expectations.
Love this house , loads of space and furnished beautifully, thoroughly recommend this place .

Quiet very friendly small country village, home of the famous Pytchley Hunt surrounded by fields.
Our wonderful Village pub run by Phil is a stones throw away, open 7 days a week all day, two gardens and plenty of parking with a small kids play area in the orchard garden and the lovely Secret Garden for the adults with cocktail bar and BBQ. Great food and local ales. Numerous functions, quiz nights, themed events. Visit their website for all the details. They are a dog friendly pub.

The village has a church dating back to the 12th century.
Pytchley is surrounded by countryside with lovely walks, if you want to walk across to the the next village, Orlingbury you can visit the Queens Arms pub and Wythmails a great coffee shop. There are various country parks with lakes and walks within 15 mins e.g Sywell, Pitsford, Fermyn Woods. Wicksteed Park with lakes and various rides in the theme park and is just 5 mins drive away.
Beckworth Emporium and Bosworth’s: two great garden centres with restaurants and a selection of locally sourced food.
There is a small retail park 5 mins drive away with 24 hour Tesco, Aldi, McDonalds, Nando’s, Pizza Hut, Costa, Hobson choice Pub, Odeon and various shops.
Rushden Lakes retail park is only 20 mins drive away - packed with shops, restaurants, leisure facilities including climbing, canoe hire and a large Cineworld IMAX cinema.
If you like golf, Pytchley Golf course is a couple of minutes away with floodlight driving range with trackman and games.
We are located with easy driving access to Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Rutland and Bedfordshire. Kettering station (5 mins drive) will take you directly to Kings Cross St Pancras (London) in under an hour or Northampton station (25 mins drive) directly to Euston (London) in an hour and also Birmingham in an hour. Easy access to M1, M6, A14, A1. Perfect location for exploring the Midlands or if travelling through the UK.
Parking for small/medium sized car in front of garage (must park carefully and sensibly as shared driveway) and designated parking space behind property within metres of rear garden gate. Also parking in the High Street if necessary.
A14 , A43 close links to the M1 & M6 only 20 minutes away so direct links to main cities and roads. Kettering Train station 10 mins by car and Northampton Station 25 minutes away. Plenty of local taxis to call on.
