Our villa has been generously designed and has large double height windows that offers breathtaking view of the surrounding mountain landscape. Inside the villa, you will find elegant and comfortable furnishings and the family room is spacious and offer plenty of space to relax and enjoy the peace and seclusion of the mountains. A beautiful and peaceful place to stay outside of Kandy☺️ Piyal, his wife and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful! I felt really welcome. Piyal helped me with transport from the trainstation, booked a driver for me to Sigiriya and to Negombo when I was leaving.
Had a wonderful time with Piyal, his wife and everyone working there: the house is beautifull and the rooms are also nice. I spent several nights there and really enjoyed the peace and seclusion. The pool has a great view and from time to time monkeys come by and join you. You have to be there for sunset - breathtaking. In addition, there is always a delicious breakfast and also a good selection for dinner. I felt very comfortable and everyone was very eager to give you a good time. Thanks for the hospitality, I would love to come back.
This villa is amazing ..I came here with my family my mother n wife liked this house so much...here food n rooms are very nice....my son feel liked as home ..The owner & his wife are very sweet they host us like their family & staff is very good .
We stayed for a night . Make sure you reach before sunset . The direction in maps is accurate and there will be sign boards all the way . No place to leave the stunning house with awestruck views . Just felt we are safe and cozy at home . You have made the right choice . Food is available with an extensive menu . Kind staff who is prompt and attentive . Wonderful host . You will leave grove with an idea of building one on your own . Have a great stay.
Our stay at 'The Grove' in Kandy was an exceptional experience from the moment of our booking. The Grove is a magical and elegant residence 30 minutes drive from Kandy with 360 degree views of the mountains. The rooms are spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. Piyal and his wife are incredible hosts. From pre-arrival Piyal went out of his way to make our visit special. He and his family helped us to organise a driver, cooked beautiful breakfasts for us every morning and generously shared their wonderful knowledge of the local area and Sri Lanka. This is the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of Kandy with gracious and generous hosts who go our of their way to make you feel at home.

I am a retired airline staff member and this place is a part of my retirement plan. I started my career in the Hotel Industry and I am back to the same field after retirement. Exploring new places, experiencing different cultures and creating memories through travel is my passion. Building and maintaining relationships with family and friends is important to me and it was one of the reasons that I wanted to run this hotel after my retirement.
