There is also an open-plan living room with a kitchen, a dining area and sitting area. Outside there is an enclosed garden with decking, patio furniture and a hot tub along with ample off-road parking. Old Halls Barns is the ideal retreat for you and your loved ones looking to get away and enjoy the rambling Shropshire countryside.

Old Hall Barns is ideally located for hill-walking on and around the Long Mynd and the Shropshire Hills or exploring local sites of historic/cultural interest. The accommodation is exactly as described; a well-equipped cottage with its own deck, hot-tub and pet-friendly garden which proved terrier proof! The cottage was warm and welcoming, clean and uncluttered. Sufficient off-road parking was available. We would definitely book again.

The village boasts a pub, whilst the nearby town of Church Stretton is just 1 mile away offering tea rooms, pubs, specialist shops and one of the highest golf courses in England. Other local attractions include the Acton Scott Working Farm, Stokesay Castle, the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, Wroxeter Roman City, Attingham Park and the wonderful historic towns of Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Ironbridge, Much Wenlock and Bishop's Castle, all within easy driving distance.
