Take in nature and views from our 5.5 acres, enjoy an outdoor fire, or take in the stars. Family & 1 Dog friendly. No parties. No smoking. Outdoor Property: Beautiful over 5 acre property to explore. With walkways, trails in the woods, a big field to play in, upper plateau to stargaze, play giant yard games or sit and read a book while taking in the nature and incredible views. Upper Plateau has a look out sitting area with benches, outdoor dance floor and a fun play area. Lots of Giant Yard games for use include: Corn Hole, Ladder Toss, Baseball Toss, Giant Connect 4, Badminton, Viking Chess, Skittles, Crochet and more. Sit on the large deck and visit all year with a good book, watch the sunsets or take in the nature sounds. In the evening there is an outdoor heater and watch the property become magical when all the outdoor lights around the event barn come on. On the lower level a sitting area just outside the door allows a quiet retreat from the rest of the house or to sit and watch the kids play. Outdoor dining area on deck with BBQUE and serving bar. On cool evenings sit around the fire pit and roast marshmallows, have a hot chocolate and take in the stars. (When fires permitted, we will provide that information in guest binder) For Kids there is lots of to do between the yard games, and play area and exploration with our property scavenger hunt. For Stargazers a telescope can be provided. For Bird Watchers binoculars and local bird book can be provided. For Skiers, lots of space to store your equipment. For Snow Shoe Enthusiasts, ask us about our Snow Shoe kits to rent. Inside: Two entrances, one upper and one lower with coat closet. For Ski groups an area for winter gear and boots in lower nook. Upstairs/Main Floor: Fully equipped Kitchen has a fridge/freezer/ice maker/water dispenser, stove with double oven, microwave, dishwasher, lots of dishes, glasses, mugs, pots n pans, stocked with the basic cooking and baking essentials, spice cupboard and starter coffees and teas. Dining table pulls out for larger groups. Island with additional seating. Living Room has big bright windows with views, cozy seating, smart TV and movie station. Sun Room surrounded with large windows and amazing views offers a cozy sitting area with a library of books, board games puzzles and air hockey table. Also find a desk for catching up on work, being creative or just to take in the view. Main Bedroom One: offers a comfortable Queen size bed, dressing table with mirror, bedside tables and a full wall of closets and drawers with a full length mirrors. Main Floor Bathroom has a soaker tub/shower, toilet, counter with sink and a laundry chute to the laundry room below. Towels and soaps included. Hair Dryer provided. Lower Level: Main Bedroom Two: our cozy rose boho themed room with Queen bed, dresser with mirror, bedside tables, large closet and chair. Bedroom Three: offers a comfy bunkbed area with under bed drawers, a cozy reading chair and bookshelf with kids books, activity baskets and DVD library. This bedroom is closed off by a privacy curtain from the Family Room. Family Room: Is beside bedroom three. Has a pull out sofa bed, lift up coffee table, TV with gaming system and a library of DVDs and player. Sofa bed is comfortable for sleeping that 7th and 8th guest. Laundry Room with a Washer and Dryer with supplies and Ironing board. Lower Main Bathroom has a shower, toilet and vanity with large mirror. Towels, soaps included and hair dryer. Seasonal towels can also be found in cabinet in this bathroom. If you are bringing little ones, we offer kids dishes, toys, and books. Stairs have a safety gate. Tell us if you need a baby high chair, we have one that sits on a chair. Tell us if you need a Pack n Play for sleeping baby. If a small/medium sized dog is part of the family they are welcome to come, upon approval. They must be house trained and not allowed on the furniture. This must be disclosed at time of booking. NO puppies or large/extra large dogs. We provide dishes and a small bed for your fur family member. Pets are not permitted to be left alone in the cottage. Additional Buildings on property: Chicken Coup an outdoor washrooms are available if open (seasonal). Event Barn is part of our property for seasonal weddings and events. We do not offer these while guests are present. This is off limits to guests. Main House, on the other side of the barn from the cottage our Main house can be found.
