Beautiful farmhouse beside a working farm Farmhouse located between Roscommon and Athlone. Ample parking. Three bedrooms upstairs. One double bedroom downstairs-ensuite.This ensuite can be accessed from the kitchen also. This double bed can be accessed from one side only. NO WiFi.Garden at the front. Local amenities include Mote park, Cloonlarge walk, St Johns Wood, Judy's Harbour, Portrunny,The Clay Pipe visitors centre. Summerview Equestrian centre.Local shop and petrol station 2 kms away. Roscommon town is 15 minute drive away full of charming shops . Athlone golf Academy Driving range, Kiltoom 9 minute drive. No access to the working farm.

The house was great for a family occasion in Kiltoom.
We chose Allan’s place for an overnight stay as it was conveniently located on our trip from the Cliffs of Moher to Belfast. (We had wanted to stop in Athlone to go to Sean’s Bar in Athlone -Ireland’s oldest bar - over 1000 years old!). Allan was very responsive. We needed some help to figure out how to turn the heater on and so Allen had Gerry, the friendly next door neighbour, come over right away to give us a hand. The place was very clean. The kitchen is small but we went out for dinner in Roscommon at a restaurant (Regan’s Gastropub) that Allan had recommended. Their food was great!
Allan was lovely to deal with and very helpful. House was exactly as described and catered for our needs.
