The village boasts 3 mini markets and several tavernas. Very much a family area there are 3 sandy beaches nearby. The livelier resort of Lassi is just a short drive away and has 2 beautiful sandy beaches - Makris and Platis Gialos. A little further on is the capital of Argostoli where you can see loggerhead turtles swimming in the harbour and enjoy browsing in the many shops.
