Unwind and relax at this quaint little (570ish sq ft) cabin, tucked away in the woods on the south side of Bloomington, IN. Just a few miles down the road from Lake Monroe and downtown Bloomington, this little slice of heaven offers peace and quiet, a place to study or work without interruptions (with our high-speed fiber internet), or a place of rest with all that the city has to offer only a 15 minute drive away. We recently added a hot tub to maximize relaxation at this gem of a hideaway! We love quiet spaces, the outdoors, and time with friends and family. This cabin in the woods ticks all those boxes for us. We love this place because by itself, it is fun. The outdoor fire pit area is available for guests to use, with chairs and firewood included as amenities. You can also play disc golf or corn hole in the back yard, and enjoy a little stroll down to the creek. This cabin is also close to so much here in southern Indiana. We enjoy spending our time at Lake Monroe, the various State, County/City Parks nearby, as well as enjoying the many amenities and events in Bloomington, just 15 minutes away. We think you will too!

Perfect spot for short or long stays. Peaceful, quiet, clean, well equipped, and so much more. Thoughtful touches inside and out make this a perfect getaway. Mattresses and bedding are comfortable and clean. Rooms are on opposite sides of the cabin providing extra privacy for guests. Kitchen is just as pictured and well stocked with utensils and cookware. I could go on and on, but if you are considering this place…..just do it! You won’t regret your choice.
We were looking for a weekend hiking getaway, and wow did we strike gold with Sam and Dev's place! My standards are high when it comes to cleanliness and this place was sparkling clean. We love to cook and the kitchen was well equipped. There were so many "extra" touches that didn't go unnoticed - firewood not only provided but chopped and ready to go was much appreciated! Sam and Dev are extremely responsive and gave several hiking recommendations which we checked out and loved. The hot tub was SO great after a 5 mile hike! Already talking about planning a trip back this fall. Highly recommend!
It was the cutest cabin! So many extras. Plenty of bedding and towels. Very clean. Loved the surroundings. Lots of wildlife. Hot tub was wonderful! We also enjoyed the fire pit. They put a lot of thought into making it very welcoming. Would absolutely return. Perfect little getaway for me and my bestie!

Our cabin is situated down a quiet, dead-end road. You're welcome to walk down to the end of the lane to enjoy the woods, nature, and view of the rolling hills, but please be considerate of our neighbors and stay off their private property.
Our cabin rests on 5,5 acres with paths through the woods down to the creek. If you choose to explore the woods between our cabin and the creek (the path that leads down to the creek starts right behind our cabin), please beware of critters and insects.
We frequently have deer visit the woods and fields around the cabin during dawn and dusk, which makes for a lovely experience while drinking your morning coffee or tea on the deck!
You will need a car to get to this cabin. The country lane may get a little icy in the winter. There are several access points to Lake Monroe nearby, with a State Recreation area about 8 miles away. If you're into water sports, be sure to bring your kayak, canoe, or paddle board! This area is also great for biking.
We're outdoorsy folk ourselves, so if you'd like any recommendations on hikes or nature preserves, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Hi, we're Sam and Dev - a British/American duo, living in Indiana. We have 3 young kids and a young rescue pup, all of whom keep us on our toes. In our experience, quality time together - outdoor exploration time, games, meals, s'mores by the fire, and snuggle time in front of the TV - are so important to living a full life.
