We came for the eclipse 2024 and were not disappointed. The place was perfect! Obviously the location had a lot to do with that, but the house and property were just right. The house is old, but Fawn has done an amazing job making it feel modern and up to date. Everything was as described. We had everything we needed. We especially appreciated not walking in to an overwhelming smell of air fresheners, cleaners, detergents, and the like. Everything was perfectly clean but without the heavy smells. Highly recommend!

Thoughtful updates to the home maintain the feel of a true farmhouse. The abundance of clean blankets, throws and pillows adds extra comfort to TV time and rocking on the front porch. Close enough to Bloomington and Lake Monroe, and also far enough away to be private and peaceful!

Our trip started off rough because of a miscommunication, but as soon as we spoke to Fawn she went above and beyond to make everything right. She is such a friendly and helpful host. The home was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. I would absolutely recommend staying at Fawn’s place!

Fawn's place was beautiful, inside and out! It was very clean, the decor was lovely, and we felt right at home. With the nice weather, we were able to spend some time outside on the property and it was so peaceful and enjoyable. Felt like a bucolic haven, but within 15min of bustling downtown Bloomington. We'd definitely recommend it as a place to stay if you're headed to Bloomington but don't necessarily want the urban nightlife right outside your window!

This was one of our favorite stays ever! The house was amazing and extremely cozy. Our family had an amazing time exploring the beautiful property. The old farmhouse was so cool. Fawn did an outstanding job with the decorations and went above and beyond to have everything you could possibly need at the house. Can’t wait to stay here again!
