Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Yurt is behind the private side of the main house on 35 acres, just 5 minutes from the river town of Dolores and McPhee Reservoir. Boggy Draw trail system runs through the property. Phil's World and Mesa Verde 20 minutes away. Hiking trail located on property which connects to town. Guest kitchen and private bath have their own entrance 50 steps from the yurt. Truly unique private setting in nature but close to small town amenities. This clean, stylish, well appointed yurt has tons of ambiance and is the definition of glamping. High quality queen platform bed and high-end linens make for restful nights. A seating area includes a loveseat and Smart TV for streaming your favorite shows. A work desk with free wifi overlooks the piñon juniper. Dresser, hooks and luggage stand provided for your clothes. A drinking water setup and air conditioning deliver hydration and comfort. 2 robes for after hours bathroom trips provided. The entry deck with two chairs makes for magical morning sunrises with your coffee. The dedicated guest kitchen is in a covered porch like setting, completely separate from other main house areas. Kitchen with seating area includes mini fridge, cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, gas bbq, sink, french press or pour over and electric kettle. Compostable plates, silverware and coffee cups along with skillet, pots, pans and assorted kitchen accessories. The dedicated guest bathroom includes a walk-in shower, toilet, sink, towels, soaps, shampoo and hair dryer.

Just as described- a fun experience in a well built and appointed yurt. Privacy with great views - really away from it all but still close to towns. No big deal with the kitchen/bath a short walk from front door. Everything clean and comfortable. Bill was a great host - very responsive and offered good restaurant suggestions. Highly recommended !!
I can’t say enough about how wonderful Bill’s Boggy Draw Yurt was! Bill was communicative and responsive to my messages and was very understanding and flexible when I had to make adjustments. The location is quiet, peaceful and just stunning. I absolutely loved his set up, he offers a fully stocked open air kitchen and a wonderful large, clean bathroom a short walk from the yurt. This gave us privacy, freedom to move/do as we pleased! The yurt is large, cozy and offered more amenities than you can find in most motels/hotels. Large TV perfect for relaxing after a day in Mesa Verde, AC AND a heater, large windows, a couch and a dresser to store clothing with a rack to store quick to grab belongings. Bill is awesome and the stay was memorable, I hope to visit again!! Bill has thought of everything to make this a great getaway!
Wow! Beautiful stay and friendly host. Several towns nearby with restaurants and good thrifting. Close to Mesa verde Park and tons of lakes/reservoirs. Don't forget to bring sunscreen on this trip because there's so much to do outside! Bill was friendly and responsive, we didn't need anything but he let us know from the beginning to let him know if anything came up!
The time in the yurt was peaceful and restorative with the huge vistas making it hard to leave and see the other areas of SW Colorado. Bill made my stay very easy as he was responsive to my requests yet respectful of my privacy. The kitchen and bathroom arrangement was convenient with a short walk and well lit when needed. The dark skies were great for viewing the constellations and Milky Way! What an experience, thank you Bill!
Es war ein Traum! Bills Unterkunft hat die perfekte Lage - schön abgelegen und ruhig, aber trotzdem ist alles was man braucht schnell zu erreichen. Die Jurte, sowie die Küche und das Bad sind mit viel Liebe und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Für uns war es absolut kein Problem ein paar Meter bis zum Badezimmer gehen zu müssen. Im Gegenteil, wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder wenn wir nochmal in der Gegend sein sollten. Der Check-in und die Kommunikation waren einwandfrei.

Located at 7000 ft elevation, Boggy Draw is on a mesa of piñon, juniper, ponderosa and aspen forests perched above the river town of Dolores. Hiking trails, mountain biking, gravel riding all right out the front door. Colorado’s second largest reservoir, McPhee is quite close. A short 20 minute drive lands you at House Creek on McPhee Reservoir for canoeing, paddle boarding or swimming. Mesa Verde National Park is a 20 minute drive along with Phil's World for world class mountain biking. Bike and water toys available for rent in Dolores 5 minutes away.
Telluride is about 1hr 15min away. Durango is one hour away.
Private parking within 25 steps of yurt. Town is 5 minutes away from property.
