The spacious Promenade apartment at the Beach House is on the ground floor of this seafront property in the delightful Totland Bay. It's in an area of Natural Outstanding Beauty on the North West coast of the Island. The unrivalled ever changing views look across the Solent towards Bournemouth - eg tide in or out, shipping, calm, rough, swimmers, gorgeous sunsets. It is so easy and relaxing to while away time just gazing at the spectacular vista, especially pretty when the yachts are out.

We had a wonderful stay at Jo's Airbnb! Jo was incredibly welcoming and greeted us in person, providing a clear introduction to everything we needed to know. The place itself was peaceful and impeccably clean, making it a perfect choice for anyone traveling with a baby. The accommodations were not only baby-friendly but also exceptionally comfortable, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. I would highly recommend Jo's place for anyone looking for a tranquil and cozy retreat.

We had a lovely time in Totland Bay, which is a beautiful spot. The weather was on our side for an early October stay, which meant we had multiple options nearby for outdoor activities and walks. There is allocated parking just outside the ground floor apartment, which is spacious and comfortable, with fantastic views across the bay. The apartment is well facilitated, so if conditions are not on your side, staying in is always an option! Our only negative was the small bathroom, which could be a problem for larger groups. The Waterfront bar/restaurant is just a short walk away, which is an ideal local option for lunch or dinner with friendly staff and excellent food. Just 15 mins walk away in Colwell Bay is The Hut, which is a fantastic (albeit expensive) restaurant with outstanding fresh seafood and outstanding service. We would highly recommend both the apartment and the location. Thank you very much from David and Emma, Winchester, UK.
the location and property were both amazing. the beach hut was an added bonus. we will be looking to stay again.

The beach itself is sandy when the tide goes out, and it is very safe and clean for family bathing. The Waterfront Restaurant and bar is 100 metres away and the Hut at Colwell Bay is a 15 minute walk. There are other pubs in the area. Yarmouth is only 3 miles away, which is full of pubs /eateries. There are many beautiful scenic walks in the lovely rural West Wight, the most challenging one across the downs to Tennyson's Monument, where you can see the whole West Wight surrounded on 3 sides by the sea.
A car is recommended, but the Island boasts a good bus service. The Number 7 bus route runs from Alum Bay, through Totland, Freshwater to Newport.
The Needles Breezer runs from Alum Bay through Totland to Yarmouth.
One free parking space comes with the Apartment. There is additional paid for parking on the Esplanade.
