From listing it seemed it was a room rented in a lodge with a shared guest pool at the lodge...it was a unkempt room at the back of a house that smelled horribly. Everything was old, torn tiles in bathroom, one sink was broken and didn't drain properly, half the mirrors were so distressed you couldn't see in them, horrible lighting throughout that made the atmosphere seem more dirty and creepy! The shower/jacuzzi tub is very slippery, old and unsafe; we all almost fell multiple times trying to shower! The instructions to get to the door were horrible and my husband had to actually move a piece of metal fence to get around to our door, which we had to walk thru a weed filled gravel "sidewalk" to gain entry to our door. Shabby outside of the HOUSE it was in, not a lodge, with toys and trash everywhere. It was definitely improperly advertised and a huge disappointment for what was expected and what we paid for. The host did give us a military discount and sent the code for door day before

Between the quietness, the comfortable bed, and the darkness of the countryside, we slept so deeply, which is all we really needed. Jenelle’s place served our needs for our busy weekend very well. For those who will be doing a lot of cooking, the kitchen is very well supplied, though it does lack a regular counter top and full size sink. Appliances are very clean, as was the entire place. People with mobility issues may want to ask about things that are necessary for them. Communication with Jenelle was easy and helpful. Very kind, welcoming, helpful hosts!
