Rest and relax in our modern nature inspired guest suite with private entrance that feels like you’re living up in the trees! We’ve created a comfortable space to recharge after a day of exploring. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the deck and spot some backyard birds, or kick back on our cushy sofa while watching our large TV. We’re just a mile from old town Lafayette, a 20 minute drive to Boulder or 35 minutes to Denver. Rocky Mountain National Park is about an hour away. Welcome to The Nest at Beacon Hill! Our recently built guest suite (2023) has its own private entrance and private deck, and is on top of our garage. The vaulted ceilings and many windows help it to feel airy and bright. Throughout you’ll find high-end finishes that will provide you with a luxurious stay. With additional sound-proofing insulation, and no living space underneath, the guest suite has a very private feel. Our space is best suited for couples and individuals. The living room has a comfortable leather sofa with two wide power reclining seats, plus a 55-inch TV for catching up on your favorite shows. The kitchenette includes a full-size refrigerator, small dishwasher, microwave, and toaster oven. The bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed with choices of pillows based on your preferred firmness. The bathroom includes a beautifully tiled shower that you won’t want to leave. There are lots of trees in our yard and our neighbors’ yards. There’s an ash tree off the deck which provides some shade, along with apple and crabapple trees. From the deck, you’ll see a variety of birds at the bird feeder or in the trees nearby, such as blue jays, finches, sparrows, great horned owls, and more! Enjoy the antics of the squirrels and bunnies, and spot the occasional fox nearby. Take a walk in the nearby open space where you might spot a coyote or two. You can have access to our washer and dryer by request. This is a shared space and you’ll be provided a code to access the laundry room if you request it. Please make your request 24 hours in advance so that we can accommodate you. Our dog, Kora, loves to say hi to guests, but is kept separated by a small gate that prevents her access to your space. If you are allergic to dogs, this is not the space for you, as she does enter the guest suite to visit family and friends who stay with us. Lafayette Short Term Rental License #24-000055.
