We had a great time at Rebecca’s place. It was right on a beautiful lake and had a canoe and kayaks available. The fire pit was great and the views were stunning. It was so peaceful and serene. The surrounding forest was full of trails and lakes for hiking and the view from the top of Owl’s Head Peak is second to none!! The house was just as promised and Rebecca was friendly, quick to respond, informative, and professional. We used the place as a home base to explore much of Vermont and New Hampshire. But, honestly, you could just stay there and enjoy the serenity for your entire trip and be happy. I would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time staying on the Lake. This place had exactly what I was looking for in a camp and brought back many childhood memories of staying at my Aunt’s camp on the lake. Very peaceful and the lakeside view was beautiful. Amazing sunrises in the morning. We enjoyed kayaking and playing in the water with our toddler. We hope to return for another stay.

Rebecca's place on Lake Groton was truly wonderful in so many ways. looking for a serene, quiet place, gorgeous views, pre dawn quietness & beauty, stillness that moves the soul.. Loons, forests, swimming, canoeing... Highly recommend, we'll be back to experience this lovely place. Thank you Rebecca for sharing!! Michael & Sandy

We had an enjoyable stay at the "Lakefront Cottage" tempered by having rain everyday of our stay. Needles to say, we wanted to spend more time outdoors and would have had we been able to plan our activities based on reliable weather forecasts. That was not possible because there was no cellphone and only snippets of WIFI access for weather reports. But we made the most of our stay by getting in a lot of reading and visiting with family from the Montpelier area. The setting was peaceful and lovely, there were useful amenities throughout the cottage, and plenty of hot lake water for showers and cleaning. Some items to address (helpful for future guests): (1) Instructions for use of TV, DVD, Apple TV device with four different remotes. (2) Advise people of the steep descent from car parking area to the cottage (might consider putting in some steps). (3) Store at Stillwater State Park is closed, so no place to dispose garbage/ recyclables. (4) Maintenance of bedroom window/front door.
