Welcome to your tranquil studio apartment, a cozy escape near Beechwood Village. Perched on the second level amidst lush trees, it's flooded with natural light from numerous windows. This peaceful retreat is located in a quiet neighborhood, just steps from vibrant Beechwood Ave and conveniently close to downtown and bus routes. Unwind in comfort and enjoy a maple forest with walking paths right across the street. The apartment boasts a full kitchen for all your culinary needs and a king bed. This studio apartment is located above the garage (not used for parking) and has it's own private entrance from the back yard with a stairway up to the door. Not suitable for those with mobility issues who can't climb stairs. The studio is separated from the rest of the house by a stairway, so it's quiet and private! Includes a king sized bed with memory foam mattress, full kitchen, and full bathroom with bathtub. Lots of windows and natural sunlight. Two other larger units in the home are open for 30 day plus stays on Air BnB. Laundry is shared.

I highly recommend the accommodation. As a newcomer it’s really hard to find a perfect spot no matter how much you read about it, but it seems that this one suited us really well, especially for a month. I contacted Sarah since my first reservation got canceled (for no reason) on another Airbnb, and she was very responsive, and very helpful since the first messages. Bus stop are like 8 to 10 min away from the house. For the accommodation itself, it is situated at a very calm and peaceful area of Vanier, close to a small park and a library. My wife and I felt like home, Sarah and her husband were very welcoming and super friendly toward us, also different kind of snacks were there. The apartment is very nice, very sunny, the bed is very comfy. All the amenities were present, the kitchen is also very well equipped. We feel very lucky to get our first experience in Canada here, I wouldn’t hesitate twice if someone asks me about accommodation in Ottawa. Thank you Sarah & Sy

Sarah’s place is the perfect one if you are travelling with a plus one or alone, as in my case. I stayed for almost two months, and I could not have asked for a better place. The neighbourhood, in the northern extreme part of Vanier, is safe, quiet and peaceful, 3-5 minutes walk away from Beechwood Avenue. I was a visiting researcher at uOttawa, a 50-minute walk away. I went there every day, but there are several bus stops in Beechwood av. that go straight to the university if you are not feeling like walking there. If it is your first time travelling alone (my case), or you are looking for a “hidden haven”, I would 100% recommend this place above any other Downtown or in Gatineau. Sarah’s hosting skill was the cherry on top! Sarah was an excellent host, always available to answer my many inquiries, making me feel at home. I will definitely return next year!
Sarah and her husband were great hosts. Very warm people, quick with responses and willing to help with no issues. The place is well taken care of, and you cantell they are proud of what they do - and they do it very well. I wish I could stay here longer. Would recommend to anybody

There are many bus stops within a few blocks of the apartment and it is easy to get around to various locations in Ottawa. Aside from buses, the neighbourhood is very walkable and you can walk to most amenities such as grocery stores, liquor store, pubs, restaurants, pet store, drug store, etc.
It is also easy to take a taxi or Uber or if you have your own vehicle, we are very centrally located and you can get anywhere in town within a short time.
