This quiet corner of West Kent is set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Chiddingstones, a much sought after location of pretty villages in beautiful farmland in the Garden of England. Tunbridge Wells is 15 minutes drive away and Sevenoaks is 20 minutes. The nearest station is Cowden (35 minutes walk/5 minutes drive) with regular trains to London. There are also stations at Hildenborough, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks. Gatwick airport is 35 minutes away. Historic houses including Hever Castle and Penshurst Place are 10 minutes away, and there are numerous local pubs including the renowned Rock Inn which is 10 minutes on foot. There are fabulous walks in all directions from the doorstep, with Ashdown Forest and the North and South Downs a short drive away. There are tearooms in Penshurst and Chiddingstone and a super farm shop at Falconhurst (which also hosts events) in nearby Markbeech. There are village shops in Penshurst and Chiddingstone, with Waitrose and Lidl in Edenbridge.

There is parking available for four cars at the property. There are wonderful walks in all directions or bring your bicycles or even a horse for a small charge (we have a paddock and stables), if you'd like to venture further afield. The nearest station is Cowden 35 minutes walk/5 minutes drive away, with further stations at Hildenborough, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks taking around 40 minutes to London.
