Come enjoy the beauty of nature with epic panoramic mountain views seated over the Sacramento River yet only 10 minutes from downtown Redding. This stunning location sits adjacent to open space with hiking and biking trails (one private trail immediately off of your backyard leading directly to the Sacramento River!), fishing, paddle boarding the river (if you dare!). We love sharing our personal home and slice of heaven and would love to host you! Located at the end of the street with a long driveway and boasting over 5 acres with the house atop a hillside, it's a one of a kind, private experience for our guests. Your only close neighbor lives in our detached in-law unit. They're amazing and quiet neighbors (we know - we live beside them!). When we built the house we prioritized the view and our great room and kitchen areas. We love to host people and events. Although it's private, we're only 10 minutes from downtown Redding and less than 15 from Bethel. It's a great place to stay while you’re enjoying the outdoors! Mt. Shasta, Mt. Lassen, Whiskeytown lake, Lake Shasta, just to name a few. Whether you like mountain biking, hiking or paddle boarding, Redding has something for you.

I brought a team from Cleveland Ohio. We all felt the same. This may be the first Airbnb I’ve stayed in where it was more that was was presented. And the price for what was received was excellent. It was max 15 min from everything so the secluded atmosphere of the property (right at the foothills of the mountains) was so worth it! The layout and design, along with the number of bathrooms really made everyone feel privacy in the house. We had 10 people. It was a short hike to the river. The amenities were great. And the request for checkout were very minimal. I will come back. It was the best airbnb I’ve stayed in. It’s worth it.
Rachelle’s place was the perfect getaway for my friends and I. We were in town for a special event and her home was beautiful, modern, spacious, and had lovely views. Highly recommend. We’re already dreaming about when we can come back!
Rachelle’s home was exactly as the photos and made for a gorgeous stay for my brothers, kids, and i who were visiting for a wedding. The home was just stunning. The view off the back porch at sunset looking towards the mountains was so serene and calming. Rachelle was also a very responsive host! 10/10 would stay here again!

We're located in an offshoot of a small neighborhood with hiking trails surrounding us. The property sits approximately 600-1000 ft off of the street.
Tons of parking available in the front of the house! Please refrain from parking in front of the small black in-law unit adjacent to the house as we have quiet tenants who live there and those are their designated parking spots.

With a builder/designer for a husband and my love of hosting events and dinners, we love creating and enjoying spaces. Aside from building and design our first passion is our family! We have three little ones we adore. From renting, traveling and being landlords, we know the challenges of being away from home and sharing your space.
