Very cozy! We had a great stay
My stay at Jayne’s was great! I spent the night there before catching the sunrise at Badlands National Park. I felt very comfortable and the place had everything I needed for my one night stay. I would definitely stay again!
Cute cozy place off the highway. Easy to get to places from there.
Jayne’s place was charming and comfortable! She was so kind to check with us to find out when we would check in so she could turn up the heat in our room before we got there. It was a lovely, peaceful experience with a great host! 😊
1. Host sent check-in instructions, but neglected to give us the unit number until we messaged her. 2. Trash from previous occupant under kitchen sink and large hefty bag full of trash on back deck. 3. TV was in Spanish. We texted the cell number she left, but she messaged us back through the ABNB app. We didn't see the message for a couple of hours and assumed she was ignoring us. Her message let us know she was at a "dinner party" and if we still had trouble she could "find someone" to come look at it. By the time we saw the message, it was 10 at night. 4. Absolutely the cheapest of everything. Bed, mattress, pillows, bedcovers came from Dollar General, I think. 5. K-cup machine took 5 minutes to make a 6 oz cup of coffee. We wanted to fill our mugs, but it took 1/2 hour. 6. Ice tray was literally the smallest ice tray I have ever seen. How about having two normal-sized ice trays so a guest can make more than 6 mini cubes at a time. 7. Back deck - no chairs or table.

Hi I’m Jayne! My husband Paul and I have been fortunate to be given the opportunity to own and operate our Motel and Air BnB business in the beautiful state of South Dakota, specifically the friendly village of Wasta. Located right on the I-90 at Exit 98, we are just outside of the town of Wall and the Badlands National Park. We are experienced travelers as well as hosts with our goal being to give the best experience possible with value and simplicity. Our hope is that our guests will feel at home and comfortable in our spaces and free to enjoy their surroundings while feeling secure and welcome.
