Brit and Hannah were exceptional! The check in was super easy and from the minute my wife and I arrived we felt at home. The house is super cool and the decorations keep the house true to its nature and embody the age of the house. The property itself was beautiful, we arrived at the end of the season for flowering plants but there are plenty of trees trees on the property that create a private place to get away. The breakfast Brit made was phenomenal, the blueberry muffins are the best I have ever had! Top that off with fresh coffee and orange juice to start the morning. The location of the house is within 5 minutes to Bar Harbor which is just far enough away to get away from the bustle of town and enjoy a peaceful night. The house is also within minutes to the Hulls Cove entrance to Acadia National Park. Αll in all this is the perfect place to spend your time on Mt. Desert Island, you will not be disappointed!

Lovely place, very clean! I felt right at home. She had plenty of recommendations for food to eat in the area and trails to hike! I was a little wearing of traveling solo as a female, but Brit made me feel at ease! I will definitely be booking again in the future for when I come back to the Bar Harbor area!

Brit was an incredibly gracious and accommodating host. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed for our stay. And her blueberry muffins in the mornings are amazing!

Staying at Brit’s place was one of the best decisions we made when planning our trip to Bar Harbor. She was a fantastic, kind, and caring host who went above and beyond to make sure we (and other guests) felt like we were at home. The house is beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed being able to bring our dog along and she was welcomed warmly and loved meeting Brit’s sweet dogs. When we come back to the area, we will stay here again.

All I can really say is if I could rate Brit and Hannah as a ten as hosts and residence I would. We enjoyed our stay immensely and intend on returning. We could not ask for more accommodating hosts. It was outstanding. Amazing blueberry muffins every morning as a bonus!
