Charlie was very responsive and helpful. The location was convenient for our trip. It’s a very beautiful home and smells great the minute you open the door.

As a New Orleans native, I can attest that this place is very centrally located with quick access to I-10, French Quarters, Mid-City, Metairie & Uptown. My grandparents lived a few streets over, so I was fully aware of the lively neighborhood activity at night. The neighborhood is very typical of New Orleans-proper neighborhoods (Orleans Parish). Staying at this beautiful home & its location will give you an authentic experience of being a New Orleans local. The home itself is gorgeous. Although it is a newer home, it was built and decorated in keeping with traditional Uptown New Orleans homes. The grounds are very well-kept with off-street parking. And if you are traveling with pets, this place is ideal! The home was super clean, & spacious, with modern high-end fixtures, and well-equipped for extended stays. The home has a security system which is monitored regularly by the host, Charlie, who is very responsive. Whenever we travel home to NOLA, this is where we plan to stay.

The place is really nice inside, the neighborhood not so nice for walking. The host Charlie was pretty responsive. The only con's I have were; we did not like that we had to strip beds down, or taking the garbage out, for I feel like thats what the cleaning fee is for. People should know to keep a place like they found it. But other then that, the open kitchen is beautiful, so were the bedrooms and sitting area by kitchen. Uber rides to and from the French quarter varied between $12-18 each way.

Amazing place and responsive host. Would recommend staying here if you have a vehicle. The French quarter is pretty accessible from here.

House is modern, clean and conveniently located in relation to almost all areas of the city by bus (or uber). Charlie is an excellent host and communicates in a very quick time frame. New Orleans is an incredible city, but like almost all cities there are issues that vary by neighbourhood. I would point out that although we occasionally witnessed some concerning behaviour, we never felt unsafe in the house, which is well fitted with an easy to use security system. Like any neighbourhood at night, keep your wits about you - I would suggest using exclusively rideshare services after dark. Overall, I would both recommend and also stay here again!
